  • Euro 2016 - Portugal Preview

Euro 2016 Team Preview : Portugal A little step away from my regular Ralfie1982 Betting Blogs on CPFC, F1 and the golf as I venture over to France for Euro 2016 (not far for me as I live near Dover!). I was delighted when I was asked to preview Portugal and their chances here. How did Portugal progress to the finals When Portugal got beaten at home by Albania in the opening round of fixtures, (They always seem to be in their group don’t they?) you could be forgiven for thinking oh same old Portugal, however since that defeat it is worth noting they went on to win the next 7. Also Worth noting that they won their last three in that run of seven without CR7 scoring, maybe they are not the one man…

undertherobe on 22 May at 15:29

The weeks continue to tick by in the MLB season and we’ve got some exciting division races starting to get into full swing with four of the six divisions separated by less than two games. This week’s blog has another three pitchers to watch over the next seven days whilst it’s going to be a big week for the White Sos as they face off against their AL Central rivals............... Picks Review J.A. HAPP’s excellent start to 2016 hit the buffers on Monday as he allowed more runs than he got outs in a very loose start against Tampa Bay. It was a day to forget all round for Toronto and Happ finished with 2 IP, 7 H, 8 ER, 2 SO. Happ was much better on Saturday against Minnesota, but after seven shutout innings, the wheels fell off in the 8th…

  • Euro 2016: England Preview

danbradley on 19 May at 10:47

As always in the build up to a major football tournament, there is huge hype and interest about the England national team. While there is perhaps not so much expectation as in previous tournaments, when the ‘Golden Generation’ was at its best, this current crop of young stars has shown in this season’s Premier League that they have the ability to create history themselves. Much of England’s Euro 2016 chances will depend squarely on this inexperienced international team’s ability to perform at the highest level and handle the immense pressure that comes with wearing Three Lions on one’s shirt. England’s History in the Euros England have a poor record at the European Championships - failing to qualify on more occasions than they’ve reached the last eight. Their most famous performance was at home in ‘96, when agonisingly losing to Germany on…
