The last Grand Slam of the season is upon us and the tradition of me offering a complete quarter by quarter preview in the form of a blog must continue. Last season US Open proved to be one of the most unpredictable when it comes to ATP tennis and while again there are obvious favourites who would fancy their chances, some of the lower seeds surely impressed during the hard court season and all year in general. As the season nears to a close, some of the less physical favourites often have problems and point out fatigue as one of the reasons why they are on a decline after the summer.
