  • In Form Trainers - 5 to 11 October 2015 - Updated With Full Data For The Week

Robmull on 04 Oct at 21:28

The purpose of this blog is to highlight trainers in Britain that are currently in good form based on a minimum of 5 winners at a strike rate of 20% or more during the last 14 days up to the close of racing on Saturday. In addition, I will endeavour to list where these trainers have horses entered at racecourses over the forthcoming week where the trainer has been profitable to follow since the start of 2011 and will also highlight any jockeys that have been profitable to follow when teaming up with our in form trainers, during 2015. There is an old saying that states that success breeds further success and whilst most training stables come in and out of form during the year, it often pays to keep a close eye on a trainer’s runners when the stable…

  • British Masters Golf - Woburn

    Ralfie1982 on 05 Oct at 14:21

British Masters - Woburn Okay so I am absolutely sick of missing out by 1 shot every week!!!! This week Soren Kjeldsen has missed out on place money by 1 shot (He did this last week too!). We have to land one soon and I am convinced we can get this one about right. We have a ridiculously strong field here which i will allude to below. The event has not been on the calendar since last held in 2008, and the four years before that were held at the Belfrey so show some caution when looking at form. The Courses & Stats £3m prize pot PAR 72 Woburn Marquess Course plays 7217yrds Technical course with most holes surrounded by lots of trees and bunkers designed to catch those golfers being to brave Holes 1 & 10 were designed to…

  • Australian Soccer - Brisbane Roar FC my team for the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season

tbuckley on 05 Oct at 19:49

Australian Soccer - Brisbane Roar FC my team for the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season In my first blog on Australian Soccer covering the format, history and structure of the Hyundai A-League, I stated how the motivation for doing that blog is my love for a challenge and especially one that is sports/sports betting related. It's a challenge to look at and find more about Australian Soccer because I quite honestly have never followed Australian Hyundai A-League, until I'd done the first blog I knew nothing of the structure, history of the A-League and I've never had a bet on the A-League. That first blog covering the format, history and structure of Hyundai A-League is available for anybody interested, I now know more about the A-League and I hope that blog helps others to understand more. The next part of my challenge to get…

West Ham United So Far 8 games into the Slaven Bilic regime, the new look West Ham United but most importantly, the last year at The Boleyn before we say farewell and move into the Olympic stadium with an extra 20,000 seats as well as a growing waiting list for the season tickets. The reviews from athletic and rugby fans that have attended this summer have been glowing as the ones who experienced London 2012. But is the 8 game review full of praise also? Lets crack on. Results So Far The Hammers got off to the perfect start when they won 2-0 on the road to Arsenal on opening day but got shocked at home with a 2-1 defeat to Leicester and a 4-3 loss against Bournemouth. • Honeyball and Skelton to continue fine form at Chepstow

TeddyT on 08 Oct at 17:42

Chepstow Silver Trophy Meeting 10th and 11th October For many National Hunt fans the Silver Trophy meeting at Chepstow is the sign that the new jumps season is truly underway. The management at the racecourse appears to making an attempt to further enhance the importance of this fixture by extending the meeting to two days. In effect this is an amalgamation of the two individual Saturday meetings that were held at the course during October in previous years by bringing these fixtures together and making a Chepstow two-day Festival. Some top quality horses have registered wins in these races over the last five years including the likes of Sire De Grugy, Albertas Run, Cue Card and Silviniaco Conti. A number of trainers appear to have targeted the October Chepstow meetings in previous years in an attempt to get the main part of the…

  • Friday Racing Review - Newmarket and York on 9 October 2015

Robmull on 07 Oct at 14:43

Regular readers of my blog will be aware that I provide weekly articles in which I preview the races that are to be televised by Channel 4 each Saturday, with the aim of drawing together in one place some useful and hopefully potentially profitable pointers in respect of these races. In addition to my usual Saturday Racing Preview, I thought that it would be beneficial to produce a separate companion article for the 7 top quality events from Newmarket and York that the Channel 4 cameras will be covering this Friday. Each race will be previewed in time order, during which I will in the main attempt to highlight useful data in relation to the following criteria: • Trainers with profitable records at the racecourses and in the specific races • Historically profitable trainer/jockey combinations • Historically profitable trends in respect of specific races • Any additional…
