The Fighting Fifth Hurdle is a Grade 1 Hurdle race that takes place at Newcastle in late November or early December, the race is run over 2 miles & 98 yards and has been won by some very good horses in the past. • In Form Trainers - 23 to 29 November 2015 - Fully Updated For The Weekend

Robmull on 22 Nov at 14:28

The purpose of this blog is to highlight trainers in Britain that are currently in good form based on a minimum of 5 winners at a strike rate of 20% or more and have recorded a level stake profit across all of their runners during the last 14 days up to the close of racing on Saturday. In addition, I will endeavour to list where these trainers have horses entered at racecourses over the forthcoming week where the trainer has been profitable to follow since the start of 2011 and will also highlight any jockeys that have been profitable to follow when teaming up with our in form trainers, during 2015. There is an old saying that states that success breeds further success and whilst most training stables come in and out of form during the year, it often pays…

  • Outrights Review - Premier League Top Scorer betting tips

    ibfm23 on 26 Nov at 05:31

Another outright which I've covered in the past is the Premier League Top Scorer market. The current tipping strategy is as follows (vide http://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id=409902): Premier League top scorer | Sanchez 3 units @ 17 Premier League top scorer | Balotelli 1 units @ 81 Premier League top scorer | Kane 5 units @ 22.6 (average) Premier League top scorer | Benteke 3 units @ 26 Premier League top scorer | Lukaku 3 units @ 51 Premier League top scorer | Austin 3 units @ 61 Premier League top scorer | Costa 5 units @ 11 Premier League top scorer | Wilson 2 units @ 34 The bookies are currently favoring Aguero @ 3.5 and Vardy @ 3.75. The Leicester man has scored 13 in 13 and has a 4 goal advantage over Lukaku. I don't expect him to keep up the pace though. Don't take me wrong. I am a Vardy fan, but I fear…

  • Old Guard proving to be no back numbers in a season to remember, with much more to come

Randy Rann on 22 Nov at 10:45

Old Guard like the Home Guard awaiting Mullins' Battalions Last week Old Guard won the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham and throw down the gauntlet to some more fancied rivals and though he can make waves in the 2m hurdling division he'll do well to upstage the real "Old Guard." The aptly named winner's handle can be used to describe what we've seen up to now and why I just love the National Hunt game. In a season that keeps giving the performance of some of our favourite old horses have been so heart warming and the spectacles have been a joy to watch. Yesterday alone ROCK ON RUBY & CUE CARD rolled back the years and proved they are far from done with despite being in the autumn of their careers. This followed on from SPRINTER SACRE'S demolition job in last week's…

  • NBA Record-breaking streaks - Golden State Warriors (Nov 2015)

    botev1921 on 23 Nov at 14:43

It has been only a month into the NBA season and the blockbuster stories keep coming one after another. Certain developments have been expected, others not so much, but the consensus around the league and on most fan message boards is that the current developments are already building one if not the most exciting basketball season in history. Two record-breaking streaks are still active as we get close to the end of November and I decided to dedicate a pair of articles to them, put them into betting context and hopefully add a bit more enjoyment to the already nerve-wracking first month of the season. If you haven’t followed closely, the Golden State Warriors, who are defending champions, opened with a 15-0 record, while Philadelphia 76ers, who are defending “worst team” in the league are now 0-14. How long will…

  • I've Never Seen Such A Thing?! Talked Into Account Being Closed??

    Gibbard2002 on 24 Nov at 16:43

Bookies Are Getting Ridiculous Now Aren't They?! Now I'm just your average 26 year old guy who likes a bet. I have two twin daughters who obviously come first, but I like to dabble on a bet or 2 with my spare money once the family is sorted. I'm no dodgy punter by all means yet I'm getting account after account closed. I've worked in this industry and I know the bookies are a big hater of 'arbing' so if they think you are an arber then your account will be limited / closed. I've had this happen a couple of times, but the argument is (there is no argument really, bookies always win) why would I take 8/11 on a selection at bookie A when bookie B is even money? They 'assume' I am arbing so instantly limit my account. Now…

  • Outrights Review - Serie A Winners betting tips

    ibfm23 on 25 Nov at 05:17

2015 has been a good but very busy year for me. Work pressures and a toddler in the house have taken over which meant less time for football and betting. I have been slowly (and painfully) training my body to require less sleep so hopefully you'll be seeing more of me in the near future. The Liverpool blog registered a 7% loss to date. The Reds are as unpredictable as an earthquake and the losses could have been higher had in not been for some 'hedge' bets; vide the 0-0 correct score tip against Spurs - http://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id=409902. I expect blog performance to improve as we move ahead so stick in please :). With a third of the season gone, it's a good time to review the early season outright bets. Serie A Winner Original - http://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id=409308 Amendments - http://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id=409646 My original tip, Inter…
