Brazilian Serie A end of season predictions
by Loukaini on 20 Oct at 18:52
The Brazilian Serie A is coming to a close soon, so now is the time to study forms, and look for potential league winners and relegation battles. The Série A is closing on the 7th of December and the battles at both ends of the table are about to get even hotter. At the time of writing, most teams have played 29 games of their allotted 38; with 27 points still on offer from the remaining 9 games, and with both ends of the table being extremely tight, everything can still change. There are just about 1/4 of the league games remaining; having a big part of the complete picture in front of us, now is the perfect time to focus on stats and form for the run-in to the end. If you haven’t been a regular spectator of the league, you..
Live Football Covered - October 25th to November 1st
by tbuckley on 24 Oct at 00:56
Live Football Covered - October 25th to November 1st After I've finished my shift at work on Friday, I've got 9 days off work to look forward to and I'm certainly going to enjoy it by chilling out with my family on holiday for a few days, a couple of trips to the races including Racing Post Trophy day at Doncaster and with OLBG at Wetherby. Now when I'm on holiday I do look forward to having a complete break from computers, looking at statistics, studying form etc, I'm on computers all day at work and a few hours at night so holiday time is time to put the PC away and forget about the internet. That means no forum posts and no blogs for a week, so my plan with this blog is to cover the TV football matches taking place..

by The rabbit on 19 Oct at 15:48
Matt Kuchar will be competing on the PGA tour this week when he competes in the McGladrey Classic from the 23rd October until the 26th October 2014. This tournament was first staged in 2010 and it is hosted by Davis Love III and it is part of the FedExCup schedule and the winner will obtain 500 points. The Seaside course at Sea Island in Georgia has been the venue since 2010 and the past four champions of this tournament with their final scores are - 2013 Chris Kirk - 14 2012 Tommy Gainey - 16 2011 Ben Crane - 15 2010 Heath Slocum - 14 The Course The Seaside course is a par 70 of just over 7000 yards with two par 5's and four par 3's and is not surprisingly by the coast so wind can be a factor here. The course is on..
The Biggest Mug Bet in Racing?
by garethp1981 on 21 Oct at 07:18
As an OLBG member I have been lucky enough to get the chance to join fellow members at the races a couple of times now. Of course the atmosphere at the racecourse and the racing itself is fantastic, but my favourite aspect of it is probably the conversations I have had with fellow members about racing as well as other sports. The most recent outing was to Doncaster and it did not disappoint in terms of the racing or the conversation, in fact I left not only having been lucky enough to win some money but also with a couple of ideas for things to write about in this blog. One conversation that I wasn’t actually involved in, but which I overheard on the way down to watch the OLBG race was about lucky 15 bets and the gist of..
The Southampton Perspective: Saints vs Stoke Preview
by danbradley on 23 Oct at 09:27
The Southampton Perspective: Saints vs Stoke Not many, including myself, were expecting the 8-0 demolition of Sunderland at the weekend. It was Southampton’s biggest win of the Premier League era, during which it has only been bettered by Manchester United’s 9-0 win over Ipswich several years ago. Fortunately for me, I backed Graziano Pelle to continue his goalscoring run and he obliged, scoring the first goal (after the own goal) to mean losses were limited to just -1.5 LSP. It was one of those games, however, where I was happy to take a small loss and simply enjoy the spectacle on show from my team. It can’t be denied that Sunderland were atrocious and played their part in the huge scoreline. Around half of the goals were the direct result of individual or team errors from the visitors, and so I am..
