Moving to Tanihara to Win in Japan Another event on the Japan Tour that moves from course to course, it is the Kansai Open Golf Championship. The event was held until 1991 when it was dropped from the schedule, but returned in 2009 with Koumei Oda winning at the Rokko CC last year. This year it will be from the Meishin Yokaichi CC in Shiga, the course actually hosted back in 1981 where Akio Kanemoto was the victor. Japan it is 8 hours ahead of the UK and so this will start at 11pm UK time, on the 20th May.
