by Micko70 on 15 Dec at 22:11
In this blog i am looking at all 6 races over the last 5 runnings of each race, the meeting was cancelled in 2010 due to bad weather so i am going back to 2008 for the 5th year. The 3 hurdles races are a novices hurdle over 2m, a grade 1 hurdle over 2m and a handicap hurdle over 2m 5f, the 3 chases are a novices handicap chase over 2m 4f 110yds, a 3m grade 1 novices chase and a 3m grade 1 chase. A Blue Point of View

Man City v Crystal Palace Saturday 20th December (12:45 ko) Preview Firstly welcome to my blog and my preview on Premier League matches involving my club Manchester City. I'm writing about our 17th Premier League match of the season, at the Etihad against Neil Warnock and his Crystal Palace side. Crystal Palace had a solid start to the season, they're a hard working team, full of commitment and are quite difficult to beat which are all hallmarks of a Neil Warnock side. They've proven to be a match for Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd this season as all 3 of those sides had only beaten Palace by just 1 goal. Arsenal needed a very late winner against them and Man Utd were very lucky as Crystal Palace had a number of good chances that they failed to put..

Racing at Meydan, Dubai - Results, Review and Preview As I've said before on my blogs covering Meydan, I'm a huge fan of the racing from Meydan and have been since 2010, I follow it with a passion, love watching it, punting on it and I always greatly look forward to the Meydan racing season starting. This week sees the 4th week of the new racing season on the dirt at Meydan and as the weeks go by I'll do my best to review the action and update with news, views and horses/trainers to follow, for those interested my last Meydan blog covered why I'm so taken by Meydan. Meydan definitely represents a real punting challenge, most definitely will be the case this year with the switch back to dirt from Tapeta, but it's a challenge well worth taking in my opinion..
Laying Experiment - Analysis
by garethp1981 on 15 Dec at 20:31
One problem I have here is that I do not have details of all the market prices at various stages on Betfair, I only recorded the prices for the horses that I layed. What I do have are the SPs according to the website Sporting Life. The prices of the horses on Betfair are of course not the same as this, so I can’t compare apples with oranges. But I do think that it is worthwhile when comparing Sporting Life SPs for different horses. If I was doing the experiment again, then I would have recorded the activity on a much greater number of races, but unfortunately this thought has only come to me as I started to analyse the results. I do think that the SPs as given by the website will provide some useful information, but it will..
WEST HAM UNITED V Leicester City

West Ham United v Leicester 20-12-2014. 15.00. The Boleyn. A West Ham Preview Last Time Out Sunderland 1-1 West Ham The Game West Ham arrived in confidence after coming from behind to defeat Swansea 3-1 on the previous Sunday, to face a Sunderland side who were looking like draw specialists.... From the off, both sides played with a high tempo with end to end stuff but generally it was the visitors who had the edge as the possession they had was in Sunderland's half and Carroll had a near post header go wide. Sunderland were looking dangerous on the counter attacks as they did it with pace and had the option to go direct and it was this, that lead to the opening goal.....Adam Johnson squared up to Tomkin's on the edge of the area and tried to go down the side, but the Hammers defender..
BREAKING BAD(HABITS) - WALTER WHITE AND ARSENE WENGER
by pompeybuster12 on 12 Dec at 22:11
BREAKING BAD(HABITS)-WALTER WHITE AND ARSENE WENGER "You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!" Walter White. “When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren't the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.” Arsene Wenger. THE LONG WALK As Arsene Wenger left the train station at Stoke under a torrent of abuse, he must have stopped, looked around and wondered where it had all gone wrong. An empire seemingly collapsing around him. It had once been so different for the Frenchman, he was the man who revolutionised Arsenal and the English game and yet when he landed on our shores he was..
Alfred Dunhill Championship Preview
by jimmywomble on 11 Dec at 01:42
Kruger the Top Cat at Leopard Creek After starting with the small field event last week the European Tour jumps into a more regular feel with the Alfred Dunhill Championship from the Leopard Creek GC in South Africa. Winner for the last two years has been Charl Schwartzel. It starts quite early local time at 6.20am, which is 4.20am UK time on Thursday 11th December. The Course & Past Winners Set next to the Kruger National Park there are great views into the park, and it’s natural wildlife, from most of the course. Especially the par 5 13th and the back tee on the 15th, whilst the 16th has a resident hippo, Harry, in its lake, but be careful the river between the course and the park is the Krokodil River, yes that is the Crocodile River. I’m..
