by tattflash on 14 Apr at 15:24
A full week of MMA this week where we kick of with the return of British stand out and fighters favourite call out Michael"The Count"Bisping, who makes his UFC return after a detached retina. His opponent is US special forces (and don't we know it) instructor Tim Kennedy. Kennedy is one of a huge list of fighters to call Bisping out and got under the Clitheroe fighters skin enough for him to accept. Michael Bisping (8/13 Boylesport) vs Tim Kennedy (8/5 Sporting bet) Bisping has been on the fight scene for 10 years now and sports a 24-5 record, debuting with a victory in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He is a Vale Tudo style fighter with a superb..
MLB Review - We 12.04.14
by undertherobe on 13 Apr at 08:28
Another 7 days have passed by in Major League Baseball and although it's still early days in the context of a 162 game season, patterns are slowly starting to emerge. Before we take a look at the previous 7 days, let's have a brief look at the picks that were identified in last week's blog. Picks Review Detroit split their 2 game series in Los Angeles as the bullpens took centre stage on both nights. The Dodger's inserting Josh Beckett into the lineup to replace Ryu probably cost us a crack at backing Detroit at evens or better but that was probably for the best given the way Joe Nathan spectacularly threw away a 3 run lead in the 9th. The total line for Friday’s Red Sox @ Yankees game was 8.5 runs so just a half run too high and lucky..
World Snooker Championship - Analysis of bottom half of the draw

World Snooker Championship 2014 Bottom Half Of The Draw Analysis Mark Selby Current Season Record: 21 events (won 1) 107 matches (w 77, L30) Frames played: 717 Five Year World Championship Results: 2R, 1R, QF, SF, QF For a player of Mark Selby’s undoubted ability I would imagine this has been a disappointing season as from twenty-one events played he has managed just one minor event win. For a player challenging to be number one in the world that level of success does not read well. Selby has appeared in five other finals this season and whilst that is testament to his high standard of play it is perhaps a worry that he has failed so often at the final hurdle. Possibly the 10-4 drubbing Selby received at the hands of Ronnie O’Sullivan in the final of The Masters has left an effect on Selby..
NHL Play-offs - First Round Preview
by undertherobe on 13 Apr at 23:37
It’s amazing how quickly an 82 game season passes by but with the elongated format of the NHL Playoffs, we're nowhere nearly done just yet. 16 of the 30 teams have battled through to the knockout phase where they will face off through four rounds of best of seven matchups for the right to lift the Stanley Cup. So how do the teams match up in Round One? Eastern Conference Detroit Red Wings @ Boston Bruins What a matchup this promises to be. This is the first playoff meeting between these Original 6 teams since 1957. Boston prevailed back then in 5 games and it’s hard to see them failing to do so in 2014. That being said, despite the Bruins having the best record in the NHL, they have lost 3 of 4 to Detroit this season. Detroit has done well to..
World Snooker Championship - Analysis of top half of the draw

World Snooker Championship 2014 Top Half Of The Draw Analysis Ronnie O’Sullivan Current Season Record: 13 events (won 4) 54 matches (w 45, L9) Frames played: 358 Five Year World Championship Results: W, W, QF, QF, 2R Following last year’s World Championship Ronnie O’Sullivan was available at prices as big as 5/1. At the time that seemed a very big price but all that early value looks to be well and truly gone with The Rocket available now at only around the 11/8 mark. The problem for punters is that whilst that skinny price makes little appeal, O’Sullivan is by far the most likely winner of the event. The majority of O’Sullivan’s defeats this season have come in the early rounds of lesser events where it appears the current World Champion often struggles to motivate himself. However, he has been extremely hard to beat in this year’s major..
