The Coral Eclipse is a group 1 race run at Sandown in early July, the race is run over 1m 2f and often see's runners from Royal Ascot, The 2,000 Guineas & The Derby battle it out. The race was first run in 1886 and is open for horses aged 3 and upwards. The race has been sponsored by Corals since 1976 and is 1 of the longest sponsorship's in Group Racing.... more

The clue for the venue is in the event name with the Hartl Resort in Bad Griesbach, Germany, although the course is also known as the Bad Griesbach GC. An awful June means we go into July with a minus £27. 45 LSP for the year. July wasn't kind last year so we have a mostly new set of trainers this July.
