The main advantage that Ferrari have over the other teams is that they have 2 good drivers, Mclaren will not win the Constructors title whilst Kovalainen is Hamilton’s wing man, he is simply not good enough and fails to get enough points on the board, he does well in qualifying but fails to deliver comes race day, this makes it hard for Hamilton and the team.

Last year I backed McLaren for the constructers championship, on the basis that I though Hamilton would win the world title, and Kovalainen would be a very strong partner for him. As it turns out, Hamilton did win the title, but Kovalainen struggled.

Ferrari won this title last year with Massa getting most of their points, with Raikonnen surprisingly well behind.

McLaren have been well off the pace in pre-season testing and the advantage is firmly with Ferrari. They are consistently reliable and with two strong drivers in Raikkonen and Massa, they will be going all out for a repeat win in 2009
