Yes Im taking this bet extremely early, but the main reason for that is that I think this is now all but done and dusted, and although I have to wait until November 2012 for any payout, I will do just that, because this price will only shorten as time goes on.
You can throw all the conspiract theories out there, but really, in the end, they wont matter. Donald Trump is doing nothing more than a publicity stunt right now, I dont even think he'll run for office.
The clincher though, is last night's news. The US have captured - and killed - Osama Bin Laden. Now regardless of whether you think its true, or if you think hes been dead for a long time but they've timed it to boost Obama's popularity, it doesnt matter. Obama is now the President of the United States, when they captured arguably the most wanted man on the planet. In the eyes of the average voter, that is huge.
I dont for one second buy they "it'll be forgotten by next year" argument, because they wont let anyone forget it.
Obama will serve a second term, and will be sub 1.20 come the election. |
