The fight that everyone has been waiting for should see the awesome Floyd Mayweather prove beyond doubt that he is the best pound for pound boxer for many years. At 38 , he will need to prove he still has the hunger for the game but this unbeaten champion will surely not risk his place in history unless he has. Pacquaio is no spring chicken either and this has the feel of a last ditch attempt to get his last big payday. He has no unbeaten record to protect and that is bound to affect his attitude in this bout.

He is the clear favourite going in to this competition. There is some arrogance to the man, but I think this is just the stance of his determination. Moreover, his career would be in tatters if he lost this fight.
For all those dreaming of a Manny Pacquiao win here, save you're money!! Whilst i would personally love nothing more than a victory for the humble Phillipino against the brash, trash talking P4P king, it aint gonna happen. Love him or hate him, (i think im in the middle myself), the fact of the matter is that Floyd has come up against the best fighters in the world throughout his career and always works out a way to win. Be it Oscar De La Hoya, Cotto, Hatton, Castillo, Canelo, Marquez, Maidana...the list goes on and on and all of these opponents had different attributes and different game plans yet none could crack the code. I see Floyd weathering an early storm here from the Pacman before boxing behind the jab with a significant reach advantage and taking a unanimous decision.
