Tiger Woods looks to be coming right back to his best again. Tiger last won this event back in 2006 and I can't believe it's going to be long before his name goes back onto the Claret Jug. He's priced up as a general 7/1 shot but is closer to 13/2 on Betfair so there's a bit of value in the price.

Watching the WGC Cadillac Championship today in early March, Tiger Woods goes into the final round with a four shot lead. Whether or not he can ever return to the standard he once was is another matter, but from what I have seen, his teeing and putting look to be in excellent condition, so I am going to get in early and take the 9/1 for the British Open. Tiger will add to his 14 majors, it is just a question of when, and those that have written him off will eat their words.

Tiger is back winning the Farmers Insurance Open and the WGC Cadillac Championship already this year. He sits with a 2 shot lead, at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, his odds were 3/1. Tiger has his game back now after a troublesome few years in his private life. He is 7/2 for the US Masters in April, and I can only see his price falling by the time July comes around, get on at 8s now.

I think this is the mostly likely event for Tiger to return to winning majors. While I wouldn't back against him winning the US open for me his putter is still not quite where it was in his dominant years. Links greens will not test him as much as baked US open greens. Find it hard to see him beaten in Muirfield.

It is only a matter of time before Rory adds this title to his collection. He will be really focused on this and the muirfield set up certainly gives him a chance playing in conditions he was brought up in. 9/1 doesn't look bad value here.

Won The Masters in April, finished T3 in the WGC Cadillac Championship in March. This guy is just getting better, currently 6th after two rounds of the Players Championship (10/5). Last year's Open finished 2nd, at Royal Lytham & St.Annes, after having a 4 shot lead with 4 to play in the final round. This Aussie will want to do well in England, and the Masters victory has taken pressure of him, top 5 finish here.
